What KOLens does

KOLens is a multi-platform creator intelligence tool for brands, agencies and cross-border e-commerce teams. It searches TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter) and Douyin by keyword, computes engagement metrics from the creators' actual recent videos (not self-reported numbers), extracts contact emails from bio links automatically, and manages the rest of the workflow — shortlists, monitoring, outreach drafts and campaign video tracking — in one workspace. Everything is also exposed to AI agents through an MCP server, so you can drive the same workflow from Claude.

Step 1 — Create an account

1. Go to kolens.ai/register and sign up with email + password or Google sign-in.
2. You land on the dashboard. New accounts start with 0 credits — searches are metered, while reading data you already collected is free.
3. Not ready to sign up? The homepage has a live demo search that runs a real query with no account (emails masked).

Step 2 — Add credits

KOLens is pay-as-you-go: no subscription, and credits never expire. 1 credit buys roughly 10 scraped results (videos/posts). Packs are bought from the in-app Credits page or kolens.ai/pricing:

Step 3 — Run your first search

1. Open Discovery (the search page) in the app sidebar.
2. Enter a keyword or hashtag your customers actually search — e.g. “skincare routine”, “#aiphonecase”, or a Chinese keyword like “美妆” for Douyin.
3. Pick the platform (TikTok / Instagram / X / Douyin), how many videos to scan (50 videos = 5 credits), and optionally a target region (ISO country code like US or JP) for TikTok.
4. Submit. The job runs in the background for a few minutes — watch progress on the Jobs page; you don't need to keep the tab open.

Step 4 — Read the results and open a dossier

Finished jobs feed the KOL database (the “KOLs” page). Every creator row shows followers, average views, engagement rate, inferred country/category, and contact completeness. Filter the table — for example “has email + engagement rate ≥ 4% + 10k–250k followers” — then click any creator to open their dossier: full stats, posting cadence, authenticity (fake-follower) score, audience snapshot, estimated sponsorship price range, and every contact found.

Step 5 — Export or keep working in KOLens

• Export: download the whole job as a formatted Excel file (contacts included) from the job detail page.
• Curate: add promising creators to a KOL list — lists rank members by brand fit and track your shortlist/pass decisions.
• Monitor: add creators to the watchlist to get a weekly change digest and growth alerts.
• Reach out: draft a personalized outreach email with AI from the CRM, then send it from your own inbox.
